Scope
These Terms of Service apply to Kayrock Power Tools and Kayrock TileOps, both Adobe Photoshop plugins published by Kayrock Screenprinting. Below, “the Plugin” means whichever of them you have downloaded, installed, or purchased. Where the two differ, the difference is stated explicitly.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Plugin.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Plugin for your personal or commercial work within Adobe Photoshop, subject to these Terms. A free version with limited features is available without a subscription.
3. License Validation and Data Collection
The Plugin periodically contacts our servers at kayrock.org to validate your license key. This process transmits your license key, Adobe User ID, IP address, and technical environment information (operating system, Photoshop version, plugin version, and locale). No image data, document content, or usage information is collected or transmitted.
An active internet connection is required for initial activation. The Plugin may continue to function for a limited period without connectivity, but a valid license must be periodically revalidated.
4. Account and Email
A valid email address is required to download and activate the Plugin. By providing your email address, you consent to its storage in our database for license management and communication purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on what data is collected and how it is handled.
5. Error Reporting
If the Plugin encounters an error, it will offer you the option to submit an error report. These reports include technical diagnostic information as described in our Privacy Policy and do not contain any image data or document content.
6. Purchase, Subscription and Refunds
Payment processing is handled by our Merchant of Record for both products.
Kayrock Power Tools is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to recurring charges at the interval selected at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until that date.
Kayrock TileOps is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and the licence does not expire. A free trial is available before purchase.
Refund requests within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal may be submitted to support@kayrock.org. Refunds are issued at our discretion and processed through our payment provider.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Plugin is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Plugin is at your sole risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Kayrock or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this Plugin, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Plugin following any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
