I've been fascinated with the alphabet for many years and wrote "The Abstract ABC" with an adult audience in mind. The book is a playful rendering of the alphabet through conceptual notions. I took the traditional ABC book format, which is to educate with simple concrete things (A is for apple, B is for boy, C is for cat...), and through drawings paired letters with immaterial or nonphysical ideas.
