I am more and more confused about what counts as "productive." This print is of a drawing that took me 8 hours to make, so it represents a full day of hard work. At the same time, repeatedly drawing a shape feels like a total waste of time.

Shannon Finnegan is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2014, she was a nominee for the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Emerging Artist Grant and in 2015, won an Awesome Foundation grant for her collaborative project Sandwich Club.
